The Earth Prize 2023 Awards Ceremony took place virtually on April 24th at 16:00 CET.
Meet the brilliant students behind the 10 finalist teams’ impactful solutions and find out the winner of The Earth Prize 2023 competition, which brought home the grand prize of $100,000. The following awards were also announced at the ceremony: three runner-up teams, whose schools were awarded $25,000 each; the three Mentors of the Year, who received a $5,000 prize each; and the Educator of the Year, who was recognized with a $10,000 prize.
The event was hosted by The Earth Foundation’s CEO, Angela McCarthy, and joined by several distinguished guest speakers, including Karen Wilson, Chair of The Adjudicating Panel, and Mario Salomone, Director General of the World Environmental Education Congress (WEEC).
