Don’t wait to be asked.
Become an Earth Ambassador, lead the movement in your school — your own way! Join our one-year leadership journey for students aged 13–19 who represent The Earth Foundation in their school and community, with a real ladder up to a seat on the Foundation Board.
Closes December 2026 — the next window won’t open again until September 2027.
If you ever thought ‘I can do this better than the adults’ — we want to hear from you.
Register as a Student/Teenager, then answer a few quick questions about you. When you get to the school step, select your country, then your school. If your school doesn’t already have an Ambassador-Elect, you’ll get a prompt letting you know there’s an opening — select yes if you want to become the Ambassador-Elect. Already taken? Join the waitlist instead.
If you’re 18 or over, you’re confirmed as an Ambassador-Elect right away.
If you’re under 18, your parent or guardian gets an email to approve first. Once they approve, you’re confirmed and we’ll send you everything you need.
Register, and if your school needs an Ambassador, you’ll be offered the role. Parent or guardian approval if you’re under 18.
Welcome email, training video, toolkit access — straight in.
One Outreach & Representation action every month, plus one more from another area. At least 4 hours a month, capped at 16 — roughly 1 to 4 hours a week.
Monthly check-in submitted by the 25th

Official certificate, and you lead The Earth Foundation at your school through the summer.
In September you pass the role on to the next student at your school.
The next rung up the ladder, and it is decided by a vote.
Represent The Earth Foundation your own way: speak at your school, run a workshop, host an event, advocate for something you believe in.
Plus pick one more area each month:
Hold the Ambassador community together — welcome new members, answer questions, connect people to mentors.
Tell your story — through video, writing, art, whatever’s your thing — about what The Earth Foundation means to you.
Know the programme inside out. Help other Ambassadors, and help shape what this becomes.
No. Being an Ambassador is its own thing. No idea, team, or Earth Prize experience needed.
Ambassador-Elect is your title for the year while you’re building toward the June evaluation. Once you pass that — based on your check-ins, referrals, consistency, and values — you become a full Ambassador and move up the ladder toward Country Representative and beyond.
Put your name down anyway. You’ll be next in line if the role opens up.
No. This is about who’s ready to show up and lead.
At least 4 hours a month, capped at 16 — roughly 1 to 4 hours a week. Built to fit around school, not compete with it.
No separate application. It’s part of the normal sign-up — answer a few questions, and if your school needs an Ambassador, you’re offered the role right there.
It’s a one-year role, October–September, but flexible month to month. Quieter months are fine.
Yes.
Leadership experience, skills that last, a global community, real recognition, and a path forward — up to a seat on the Foundation Board by 2028.
Yes. Plenty of Ambassadors do both. Just make sure you’ve got the time.
If you’re under 18, we ask your parent or guardian to approve first. Once that’s done, you’re in — welcome email, toolkit, and everything you need is sent to your email.
Let’s talk.
