The Earth Prize 2022 Awards Ceremony took place virtually on March 25th at 14:00 CET.
Meet the brilliant students behind the 10 finalist teams’ impactful solutions and find out the first-ever winner of The Earth Prize competition, which brought home the grand prize of $100,000. Three runner-up teams were also awarded $25,000 each, and The Earth Prize Mentor and Educator of the Year received each $12,500.
The ceremony was hosted by The Earth Foundation's CEO, Angela McCarthy, who was joined by Peter McGarry, the founder of The Earth Foundation, Rina Kupferschmid-Rojas, Chair of The Adjudicating Panel, Mario Salomone, Director General of the World Environmental Education Congress (WEEC), Kisum Chan, a member of The Adjudicating Panel and one of the young change-makers featured in The Earth Prize bespoke learning videos, and other distinguished participants!
